The packaging is a custom corrugated box with a silk-screen sleeve wrapped around the outside in coordinating colors."   THE ARTIST...Melissa Hutton is a 33-year-old visual artist living and working in San Francisco. She came from Fort Lauderdale in 1992 to complete her BFA in film and printmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute. In 1996, she completed a series of forty hand-painted chairs for Brainwash, a Cafe/Laundromat. In 1998, her chairs were exhibited and sold in Virginia Breier Gallery. In 1999, Melissa participated in SF Open Studios. She currently works as a web/graphic designer and is painting a whole new series of chairs for Brainwash.
