It rests on a mirror and tile mosaic mousepad. This piece is what I have imagined a mouse might look like if it lived in a house designed by Gaudi.   THE ARTIST...Heidi Kooy is a self-taught artist who began creating bead sculptures three years ago. She works in AIDS research, holding a Master's degree in anthropology. Heidi's pursuit of more artistic endeavors was prompted by a trip to Barcelona where she was inspired by the work of Spanish architect, Antoni Gaudi.
