I've always hated the way mice have been designed: why can't they be translucent, multicolored, and ephemeral? And why can't they look like mice? And where, for gosh sakes, is the cat? "   THE ARTIST...Brian Elder rocketed into instant obscurity upon his birth in San Francisco in 1950. Since then, he has worked with muralists Bernard Baruch Zakheim and Bill Allison, and studied calligraphy with James Hayes and others. He has been exhibited all over the world. He is currently stewarding four cats.
