It is covered in beeswax and roofing tar mixed with oil paint in an ancient and traditional fresco encaustic technique."   THE ARTIST...Tom Fowler has trained (since age 16) at Northern Arizona University, the Colorado Institute of Art, the University of Colorado and the San Francisco Art Institute. He moved to San Francisco in 1979 and worked as a graphic designer and social worker. Today, he has returned to painting, drawing and exhibiting his works.
