"   THE ARTIST...Susan Kare has been creating bitmap graphics since 1983, when she designed the fonts and icons for the original Macintosh computer. She is a partner in Susan Kare LLP in San Francisco, and continues to contribute to a wide variety of graphic user interfaces. This is her second year as a Tails of the City artist.
